I’m from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I’m starting my Senior year at the University of Michigan this Fall. I’m majoring in Communications Studies and minoring in Economics. Hoping to eventually end up in the marketing/advertising field but right now, everything is up in the air.
I’m currently working for an Internet marketing company in Ann Arbor as an Administrative Assistant, but unfortunately I can only work here through the end of the summer (full time job+full time student= requires more than 24 hours in a day and the stamina to match). I absolutely love this job. The only downside is that after having experienced this great working environment, I’m worried I won’t be able to top it once I graduate from college.
On a more personal, less professional note, I’ve lived in Ann Arbor my whole life in the same neighborhood, same house (though it’s been remodeled so many times it’s almost like I’ve moved a bunch). I have a crazy miniature poodle and an older sister that is equally insane. It makes for an interesting environment to grow up in. People often ask me if I’m sick of the Deuce after having lived here for 20 years. Honestly? I can say no, I’m not sick of it at all. I know that in a years time, there is almost no chance of me finding a job here so I’ll be required to move away and I want to savor every moment I can before my Ann Arbor bubble must be popped.
This blog is a place for me to write about anything and join the blogging community. I’m also overflowing with creative juices that just have to go somewhere, and prisma-color pencils are too expensive.
